Housing the homeless and improving the railroads will have to wait while the U.S. hands away all the money extracted from us as taxes. We laughingly talk about how they're wasting "our" taxes on nefarious criminal outrages in colleague with Zionist zealots intent on forcing Biblical mythology into a grotesque form of distorted reality wrapped in barbed wire. Israel doesn't need $3-billion a year from us; they've plenty of their own wealth to underwrite their murder and armaments enough to demolish whole cities and populations. It may not be Israel that foments an expanded world war but the U.S. in a mindless show of unnecessary force. Joe Biden may start the final war we were so worried might be brought by Trump. Once it ignites it probably won't last long.

A busy hospital is destroyed by an air attack leaving 500 dead. You ask Nyet Nyet Yahoo if it was his bomb that did all the damage and his immediate reply is "No. We would never do that. It was a terrorist missile that went off course."
He's obviously lying according to a number of tells embedded in the readiness of his answer. Because the heinous event happened only moments ago, Nyet Nyet wouldn't yet know with certainty whose rocket is to blame and would need to call for an investigation. A rocket attack is a surprise to everyone except the bomber who is aware of having launched the bomb. Also, denying responsibility doesn't match previous declarations that reveal intentions to totally level the Palestinian landscape in a hunt for members of Hamas and a search for hostages. There's a bundle of unconvincing inconsistency. No reason to believe anything that comes out of his beady-eyed face.
Using common sense a true answer translates easily to, "My hatred of Palestinian human-animals is so great that I have cut off their food, water, fuel, electricity, communications; am progressively leveling their neighborhoods; have sent them all on a pointless exodus toward safety where they will be kettled and picked off like fish without a barrel. Bringing down their schools and hospitals only makes perfect sense: we don't want little ones to grow up nor do we want wounded ones to recover. If you've been paying attention you know that our objective is to eliminate them all to make way for a Greater Israel. We have a right to defend ourself. What's so hard to understand about that?"

Without a qualified captain ships are likely to run aground.

For another wonderful season the Deutsche-Welle Festival Concerts are being heard here on KDX Worldround Radio. The opening concert of the series, broadcast yesterday, will be heard a second time next Saturday at Noon CDT followed immediately by the second concert, a total of 4-hours of the finest world music. The exciting opener is Hector Berlioz 'Roman Carnival Overture', the kind of full orchestral work that lights up a stereophonic speaker system with lively working of tweeters, mid-ranges, and woofers flashing off the walls. There'll be no mail delivery today and banks are closed as is typically the case for federal holidays in the U.S. This one's in tipsy condition as a scramble over changing its name has been going on for several years. The original name is 'Columbus Day' which school children of the past were taught was a celebration of the 'discovery' of America by the sea-going pirate, but greater superficial respect has been shown for the indiginous 'Indians' once hunted and shot by American settlers but not wanting to uphold genocide the proposed name for the day has become 'Indiginous Peoples Day', although no formal change having been made we are left posting this wobbly message once a year. Ironically today happens also to be a day of accelerated genocide against Palestinians by colonial settlers in Israel, but 'our' President Biden has put the Nation in the position of supporting Israel while making no reference whatsoever to the Palestinian plight. If KDX were asked where we stand we'd state openly our disapproval of Biden's wrong-headed policy, but the higherups never asked. That makes us dissidents. Republicans and Democrats together seem to be inclined toward facism, yet hate each other at the same time. Human beings are not handling extinction gracefully.

6:06 AM -- Not Cut Out for That Kind of Work --
My regular reader knows that I play railroad simulation games during time away from operating a hobby radio station. This morning I tried to pick up where I left off yesterday when I parked a lengthy over-weight train on the uphill grade of a trestle. But in the morning light the train was unable to start because of the lack of traction for moving uphill from a dead stand-still. So, to solve the problem in a true railroad way I located the nearest available locomotive and got it moving toward the stalled train to help give an extra boost. But as the engine was chugging toward its destination I dozed off at the controls. When I awakened, the engine had crashed at full speed knocking the entire train off the trestle in the middle of the night.

At this very time a convoy of trucks is delivering much needed aid to beleaguered Palestinians.
Once emptied, the trucks will need to return to their depots.
I say we commission the empty trucks to move Israel to Russia.
Yes, we allow every Israelian to carry up to 50-pounds of personal belongings and we ship them to Russia, thus confining two wars into one. Sure, don't you see? Once the Russian troops in Ukraine realize they have Israelies to deal with they will high tail it back to Russia to await Vladimir Putin's reaction to the unexpected intrusion.
Once the pesky Israelies are scooted out of the ancient land of Palestine, we give it all back to the Palestinians.
Pretty good, right?

The assault on Gaza is joined by Israely Settlers who are civilians with full endorsement to hunt Palestians and sieze their property, by which defense against civilians becomes necessary except for the fact that Israel has cut water, food, medical supplies, electricity and communications placing the occupied territory into a helpless ever weakening condition. Poor President Biden took several days following his vow of complete loyalty to Isreal to murmer some second thoughts about maybe considering the Palestinian people as also being part of the equation. Tough as it is, we should think about whether affairs are in order for suddenly needing Vice President Kamala Harris to step up as the 2nd in Command and start running things. Her tendency to find humor in things the rest of us fail to find funny may not be a sign of strength. And for some time we've had no 3rd in succession given the ouster of Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House. The GOP is so fixed on stripping the elderly and infirm of welfare benefits they can't come together on electing a new Speaker, and for the moment it seems like the very unsuitable Jim Jordan has at least some possibility of being placed in the position. Without a qualified captain ships are likely to run aground.

For another wonderful season the Deutsche-Welle Festival Concerts are being heard here on KDX Worldround Radio. The opening concert of the series, broadcast yesterday, will be heard a second time next Saturday at Noon CDT followed immediately by the second concert, a total of 4-hours of the finest world music. The exciting opener is Hector Berlioz 'Roman Carnival Overture', the kind of full orchestral work that lights up a stereophonic speaker system with lively working of tweeters, mid-ranges, and woofers flashing off the walls. Featured on the premier program is Francis Poulenc's 'Stabet Mater' for chorus and orchestra, powerful religious sentiments from the composer who turned from atheism to deep religious reverance following circumstances in his life. There'll be no mail delivery today and banks are closed as is typically the case for federal holidays in the U.S. This one's in tipsy condition as a scramble over changing its name has been going on for several years. The original name is 'Columbus Day' which school children of the past were taught was a celebration of the 'discovery' of America by the sea-going pirate, but greater superficial respect has been shown for the indiginous 'Indians' once hunted and shot by American settlers but not wanting to uphold genocide the proposed name for the day has become 'Indiginous Peoples Day', although no formal change having been made we are left posting this wobbly message once a year. Ironically today happens also to be a day of accelerated genocide against Palestinians by colonial settlers in Israel, but 'our' President Biden has put the Nation in the position of supporting Israel while making no reference whatsoever to the Palestinian plight. If KDX were asked where we stand we'd state openly our disapproval of Biden's wrong-headed policy, but the higherups never asked. That makes us dissidents. Republicans and Democrats together seem to be inclined toward facism, yet hate each other at the same time. Human beings are not handling extinction gracefully.

My regular reader knows that I play railroad simulation games during time away from operating a hobby radio station. This morning I tried to pick up where I left off yesterday when I parked a lengthy over-weight train on the uphill grade of a trestle. But in the morning light the train was unable to start because of the lack of traction for moving uphill from a dead stand-still. So, to solve the problem in a true railroad way I located the nearest available locomotive and got it moving toward the stalled train to help give an extra boost. But as the engine was chugging toward its destination I dozed off at the controls. When I awakened, the engine had crashed at full speed knocking the entire train off the trestle in the middle of the night.

What's that supposed to mean? Well, an 'octal socket' in electronics refers to an electron tube socket with eight pins. I think the expression 'oct' indicates '8'. Yet October is the tenth month. There's got to be a history to it. So we ignored the flooding of New York City and went to work on proving me right about the relationship between eight and 'oct'.
An octave in music spans eight-degrees of the diatonic scale.
An octogenarian is anyone between 80 and 89 years in age.
And the thing we should have looked up in the first place - In the ancient Roman calendar October was the 8th month.
