To hear the KDX audio stream try the Tune In button on the KDX Main Page.
This will open the KDX Panel on the Shoutcast website, where by selecting "Tune In"
you should begin hearing KDX audio stream.
Or, go to the Shoutcast homepage and once it has fully loaded into your browser,
type KDX into the search box on the rightside of the page and press the Enter key.
If KDX is presently streaming, you will be switched to a panel representing the presence of KDX.
Click on "Tune In" and before long audio should begin emanating from your loudspeakers.
If Shoutcast reports that KDX cannot be found it may be that the station is not presently streaming or is experiencing technical difficulties.

If you press "Tune In" but receive no audio it could mean your media player software is not MP3 compliant.
In this case you might consider downloading and installing the free Winamp audio player.
ABOUT STORMS
During local storms KDX suspends operation and disconnects from the internet. Lightning and high winds are capable of damaging computer equipment, and it is always advisable to power down during such weather. For example, a lightning strike is capable of sending harmful voltage on telephone or power lines, and this can seriously destroy electronic equipment.
EARTHQUAKE PLAN
At 4:38 AM April 18 an earthquake reminded us of the question of earthquakes. Here is the plan. In the event of an earthquake KDX plans to take no action whatsover. By the time a Windows computer is turned off an earthquake would be over for 20-minutes and it would be time to turn back on.
ADDED TECHNICAL NOTE Mon. Feb. 11, 2008
From time to time without warning our ISP (Internet Service Provider) resets our IP address, which causes streaming listeners to lose their connection. It takes five or ten minutes for KDX to recover by establishing contact with the newly assigned IP address, but for listeners to recover it is best to hit your browsers refresh button and launch a new search on the Shoutcast page for the KDX call letters.
This is a problem that may have a future solution and we'll keep this message space updated with new information.
